Classes Have Started And Fall Is In The Air

Hello my lovelies!

It has been a hot minute since I last posted. During my brief hiatus I have made progress in all areas of my life, but mostly I have focused on my son and my nonprofit. There was a grant we were applying for that was due a few days. I finished it and submitted the grant on time and am hopeful we’ll see our project funded.

My son started school a few weeks ago, which means I’ve had to get back to our school schedule instead of the wonderful vacation schedule. I also started classes the last week of August, and one of those classes is learning grammar and language art, so that’s going to take a solid amount of my time in Fall I. I am horrible at grammar so I’m hoping this class helps with this, and that I don’t completely bomb the class.

In other news, Heart Work will be going to an editor at the end of the month! I’ll be popping champagne bottles and celebrating this small victory, yet giant step in the publishing process. Once Heart Work is off to the editor, I’m not sure which project I’m going to pull out and dive into. I currently have about four other books in various stages of written, another three outlined, and one project idea currently scribbled on a napkin. I’m leaning towards working on three of them at the same time, but know that will end in utter failure.

What will probably happen is I will review the mostly-to-completely written projects, find the one I can polish up, while I take my Fall II classes and wait for Heart Work to come back. I want to make sure the project I pick up to work on is one I can set aside and pick up again off and on during the final publishing stages of Heart Work.

I hope everyone is doing well! I promise I will be more consistent on here and on social media.

Take care and have a great three day weekend,
Maghan
