NaNoWriMo is here!
Hello all! I hope the month of November is treating you well. We are now 10 days into NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and I am over 16,000 words into the complete overhaul of Heart Work. It’s stressful, exciting, and time consuming because you are committing yourself to 1,667 words per day. Some days it’s…
Hello everyone! A few weeks ago, my son and I were having a Mom and Me day when our Mini Cooper started having troubles. Long story short, it was the ignition coils. I ordered the parts, had to wait for them to come in, and then my son and I installed them. I started the…
Tiny House Is Coming Together
Hello everyone! It has been 10 days since I last posted and I have been stressing out about it. It has been making me crazy knowing I need to post an update, but being so slammed with projects and life that time just slipped away. However, I am carving out time today to post and…
Finally making writing progress
I hope everyone has had a good week going into the weekend. I’ve been making all sorts of progress in my life including my writing life. Yes, I know, it’s hard to believe, but I am finally working on Heart Work!

Desperately Need To Create A Writing Schedule
I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day weekend. I traveled and went down to visit my grandpa in Santa Rosa for the weekend. It was great seeing my grandpa, uncles, and cousins as we spent time with my grandpa.
Heart Work – Chapter Four
The house was tidy, but there was a thin layer of dust over everything, like place hadn’t been cleaned in a few weeks. Collin walked from the foyer into the living room taking in the dated furnishings of his youth. As he entered the kitchen, he noticed the sun faded paint on the walls, as…
Crazy, Busy Life
Hello everyone! My son’s last day of school was Tuesday, and then I had a piece I needed to write for my narrative journalism class to be workshopped by the class. I had all the information for the piece because I am working on a documentary about it, but I had been procrastinating writing the…
